Accessibility, barriers, and general information for your visit

Marienburg Castle, built ca. 1856 - 1867, is not completely free of barriers. The inner court (gravel!), the shop, the event hall "Carriage Shed", as well as the toilets are free of barriers. There are toilet facilities for disabled persons. Entering the restaurant and the event hall "Horse Stable" includes one step.

The guided castle tour includes six steps, and partly (historical kitchen, chapel) it includes winding stairs. The guided tour through the special exhibition ("The Path to the Crown", first floor) and the tour to the main tower's viewing platform (via second floor, 160 steps) includes winding stairs.

Please understand that prams/buggies cannot be taken into the museum. Baby-changing facilities are present.

Rolling walkers are generally accepted.

We provide bicycle stands in front of the castle; biking inside the inner court is not permitted. EAC GmbH does not assume liability for stolen or damaged bicycles or valuables. Please note that we cannot offer lockers for your valuables.

Please understand that dogs/pets can not be taken/carried on guided tours.
